I am an experienced entrepreneur, business developer, blockchain advisor, lecturer, and expert in establishing innovative ecosystems, with a very rich education and business experience. I am currently the Senior Director for Business Development, covering business unit Digital in 𝐊𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐤𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩, which has more than 5.500 employees and around 1 billion euro in revenues. I previously worked for a 𝐒𝐰𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐕𝐂 𝐟𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝟏𝟑𝟑𝟕𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬 𝐀𝐁.

Prior to that, I was Head of Business Development at 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐭, where I led an international sales team and helped the company establish operational processes. In 2018 the company became the winner of the competition for the Best Biotech Startup in Eastern and Central Europe. For almost four years, Mark was also the head of development and new technologies at BTC d.d., which in those years transformed BTC City into an innovative, smart city and became one of the more innovative companies in Slovenia. 𝐁𝐓𝐂 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐥𝐬𝐨 became 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐁𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐨𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝.

I have also mentored several tech start-up and was one of the initiators to set up a Living Lab for blockchain projects at BTC. 𝐈 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐬𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐁𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐓𝐚𝐧𝐤. I am the founder of the first social platform Beyond Leadership, was a Board Member in Business Angels of Slovenia, the biggest network of private investors in Slovenia. In 2021 I also founded a 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐅𝐢𝐭&𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐭 that is working with blockchain technology, VR and AI technology. We are positioning ourselves as a Metaverse and FitFi project.
